About Cisco’s TelePresence Video ATP Tiered Levels

Cisco’s new TP Video ATP tiered levels offer partners a complete framework to achieve a unique approach to multi-tiered differentiation.

  • The Express level, is the most populated level. Within this tier we find partners that have a depth of understanding in TelePresence endpoints. But TelePresence is NOT simply an endpoint; partners still need to understand a targeted set of infrastructure such as the VCS (Video Communications Server) call control as an example. Express Partners will likely have a product focused sales approach, capable of differentiating the features and strengths of the technology. Many of these partners will add value with a unique capability in AV integration. Lastly Express Partners will be able to demonstrate TelePresence, but may not have a comprehensive EBCs and/or Centers of Excellence.
  • Within the Advanced level we find partners that have a depth of understanding in TelePresence endpoints and infrastructure. This enables them to take a solution sales approach, by adding on advanced applications and services. Many of these partners are systems integration experts, capable of tailoring the technology to specific customer use cases. These partners will typically have the ability to demonstrate TelePresence via comprehensive EBCs, however they may not have a fully video enabled sales force and internal staff.
  • The Advanced Plus level builds upon the profile of the Advanced partner by adding an understanding of Cisco Unified Communications Manager. Equipped with that knowledge these partners are able to differentiate themselves by expanding the sales opportunity into the CTS product line.
  • The Master level. This exclusive segment of Partners have been fully dedicated to building out a best of breed TelePresence practice. These partners have recognized that Cisco  is the ONLY company that provides an end to end  offering in TelePresence not simply focused on the $8.8B market opportunity, but cultivating tremendous pull through of the entire Collaboration architecture, both products and services, to drive market share within the broader $38B market opportunity. These partners typically have CXO level relationships and can enable intercompany collaboration. Well beyond demonstration capabilities these partners have embraced the video culture and have sales and internal teams that evangelize video, because it’s a natural part of the way they communicate on a daily basis. To this company Video is truly the new Voice!
