Flex-Mentoring FAQ
How do Flex-Mentoring sessions work?
Flex-Mentoring sessions grant you access to our Mentored experts for open Q&A and lectured sessions. On your own time, you'll be able to access our
Mentored experts via an interactive classroom via WebEx with your topics of choice with your course materials and hands-on labs.
Once registered for your Flex-Mentoring course, you'll receive a confirmation email that details the Flex-Mentoring session dates, times and access links
for your course. It is important for the productivity of everyone that each student test their computer, headset and microphone prior to the first session. If
you are having compatibility issues during this testing phase, you may contact us directly for support at 1.800.297.4294.

What is included in your Flex-Mentoring sessions?
Each Flex-Mentoring session includes 4-hours of mentoring, 25-hours simulated hands-on labs, authorized Cisco course materials, and access to our Flex-
Mentoring schedule. Additional hours for mentoring and hands-on labs may be purchased separately.
Who are your Mentors?
Our Mentors are the best in the industry. With over 190 years of combined experience and an average of 14 years in their specific field of expertise, you
won't be learning from someone who just received their certification yesterday. Our Mentors are all CCSI's – Cisco Certified System Instructors who have
passed vigorous exams to become authorized Cisco instructors. Also, as experienced instructors and authors of certified Cisco courses - you can be sure
that our Mentors know their stuff.
How will I be able to connect with my Mentors?
You'll be able to speak or chat one-one-one with your Mentors by engaging in an interactive virtual classroom via WebEx and it's VoIP features. During
your Mentored sessions, the instructor will lead the class the same as an on-site course with slides, notes, examples and open Q&A sessions. You may also
raise your virtual hand at any point during the presentation to ask a question or request further explanation on any point.
When can I reach my Mentors?
Mentors are available during designated times in the Flex-Mentoring sessions. Refer to the Flex-Mentoring schedule to view availability for open Q&A and
lectured sessions.
What if I just want to purchase access to your Mentors or other services separately?
Mentored sessions are available for purchase as a stand-alone service. If you're only interested in access to our Mentors, the fee is $615 for 4-hours and
$99 for each additional hour with a minimum purchase of 4-hours.
Additional lab time is available for $99 for 25-hours of hands-on access. Course materials are not available for purchase as stand-alone items.
Do Flex-Mentoring hours expire? How are they tracked?
Flex-Mentoring hours do not expire and are available to you until you use them all up. They are tracked via your login sessions so you'll know how many
hours of mentoring you have left.
When do I receive my course materials and access to my labs?
When your order is confirmed with a completed registration form and payment, your course materials and login information is emailed to you
immediately so that you can start self-studying for your Flex-Mentoring sessions. If you decide to start your 25-hours of hands-on labs early, remember to
set aside enough time to access during your Mentored sessions
How do your hands-on labs work?
Our simulated hands-on labs go beyond the Cisco simulator Packet Tracer by enabling virtual access to actual CCNA, CCNP, and CCIP practice labs that are
powered by Cisco IOS Software on UNIX. For the first time, you can virtually access and implement routing and Layer 2 core switching lab configurations
from the convenience of a PC. Combine our Mentored Experts with real lab scenarios for Cisco CCNA, Cisco CCIP, and Cisco CCNP certifications for the
ultimate self-study bundle available.
